Tony’s role: Expert witness for GPT (the owner), engaged and instructed by Mills Oakley.

Description: The building is an eight-storey student accommodation building. The combustible cladding comprises aluminium composite panels with a fire-retardant compound in their core (ACP FR).

Tony was instructed to provide an opinion on whether the combustible cladding was compliant. He issued an expert report in April 2019 with a supplementary report in November 2019. The matter settled in late 2019.
