Tony’s role: expert witness for Lendlease Engineering Pty Ltd, previously Abigroup Contractors Pty Ltd (the builder), engaged and instructed by Herbert Smith Freehills.

Description: The matter involved combustible cladding installed at two adjoining buildings: a six-storey residential block and a seven-storey residential block.

Tony was instructed to provide an opinion on whether the combustible cladding installed at these buildings was compliant. He issued an expert report in September 2020 and a supplementary report in April 2021. The matter settled in December 2023.
