Tony’s role: expert witness for the State of Victoria, initially engaged and instructed by King & Wood Mallesons and subsequently by Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
Description: The building comprises 34 storeys including a basement, Ground Floor retail, six floors of car parking, ten floors of hotel suites, and 16 floors of residential apartments. The combustible cladding comprises aluminium composite panel (ACP). This is a matter where the State, having provided funds to the Owners Corporation for the removal and replacement of the ACP, is subrogated the rights and remedies of the building owners.
