Tony’s role: expert witness for Halifax Vogel Group Pty Ltd (supplier of ACP), briefed by Barry Nilsson.
Description: The building is 12 storeys with retail at the ground level, car parking in the lower and middle levels and apartments in the upper levels. It has a distinctive perforated exo-skeletal facade comprising aluminium composite panels (ACP).
Tony was instructed to provide an opinion on the conduct of the fire engineer involved in the base-building design. He issued an expert report in response in October 2023. The proceeding is ongoing.
